I am the manager of the High Throughput Screening Core (HTC), which is in the McDonnell Research Sciences Bldg. The core offers an integrated resource supporting large format screens. Functioning as a User or Service facility, the HTC provides access to instrumentation, chemical and siRNA libraries, expertise in automation, and assistance in assay development. Any cell-based, chemical, or high-content screen, such as for chemical genetics and drug discovery, may be performed in a well supported, collaborative environment. Faculty, students, post-docs, and staff may use the facility, and have the opportunity to learn about and operate a world-class high-tech automation system.

I am the Research Laboratory Supervisor for Dave Piwnica-Worms’ lab and the Molecular Imaging Center. I am generally the person to contact for questions or if problems occur in the lab. I am involved in a variety of in vivo imaging projects within our lab and in collaboration with other investigators at the university. I am also responsible for Environmental and Radiation Safety, as well as animal protocols and other lab management and maintenance issues.
